Faxed Increased Pain Letter To My Family Doctor

Today has been a very difficult pain day. My right knee joint has clicked - popped followed by pain a total of 5 times. As well the new knee brace put pressure on the edge of my right knee cap causing severe pain. I had to take it off.
When my pain gets really bad I often write a brief letter describing this and what I am using for pain control. This is for accountability with my family doctor. We have an ongoing dialogue about my pain control. My family doctor trusts and respects me. I do not want to violate this.
