An Inquiry To Canada Border Services Agency About Buying And Importing A Mobility Scooter
[ Tuesday July 10th 2018 at 4:31 pm ]
As part of my research into buying a mobility scooter and mobility scooter trailer I've come to realize if I am going to have decent quality I will need to import one. Otherwise by the time it has passed through distribution centers and is being sold locally I won't have the durability and reliability that will lead to an improved quality of life.
I reached out to "Canada Border Services Agency" to inquire the approximate import charges of a mobility scooter. Duty and import charges aren't applied to mobility scooters. Although Canada isn't perfect by any means this is one of the things I am grateful for. There is compassion and understanding extended to those who experience some of the set of challenges I experience with my mobility.
