I've noticed a decline in the quality of health care available throughout the Province of Ontario Canada. It is obvious to me that the more I am able to do for myself the better my quality of life will be. This is especially important on account of my physical disability and chronic pain.
There is a new trend happening where patients with minimal risk factors are being sent home after surgery. Video conferencing is being used to connect with these patients for the normal "morning rounds" which typically happen in a hospital. I expect I'll need 6 more operations during my life time. Having this tool in my home will only help me in known when to seek medical attention if I am unsure.
