The Hip Surgeon Is Willing To See Me Again

The hip surgeon is willing to see me again concerning the biting sensation I am feeling with my damn left artificial hip. I am really happy about this.
What I talked over with the surgeon previously was a different pattern I had identified that was causing my damn artificial hip to make a grinding noise as well as cause me to feel intense pain. The restrictions the surgeon asked me to abide by has proven helpful. This is settling down. I am not concerned about this.
For the biting sensation I needed to settle for myself that this was an ongoing problem. By getting the other pattern stopped I was able to assess the biting sensation on it's own merit. As well I needed to have confidence that I could accurately explain this to the surgeon in order to get his help. Finally I needed to settle for myself that in some way this biting sensation isn't covered by the technical explanation the surgeon gave me about the ceramic style of artificial hip I have. Even if I try to engage in mental gymnastics I can't explain this away by the technical explanation I was given. I didn't want to cry "wolf" if this was going to solve itself. It isn't and needs attention.
The letter I faxed to the surgeon on August 26th wasn't responded to. When I tried again last week the surgeon's medical secretary was going to be away for two week. The patient relations department has acted as a liaison for me. My surgeon's medical secretary will get me an appointment date time - next week.
