Replaced The Ear Pads On My Headset

I purchased a Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset headset 4 years ago. It has served me very well. Initially what I liked about it was that the microphone plugs into the headset and is easily replaced if it becomes damaged. As well the ear pads are easily replaced. When I purchased this it looked to be a model that I could use for several. Indeed has been. About 3 months ago the battery needed to be replaced. I did some research. I was able to upgrade the battery that maximized the available space. There was some minor wear on the ear pads. But they didn't need to be replaced at that time. This seems to have grown exponentially. It seems as the cloth started flaking off it rapidly spread. I ordered a replacement set oaf er pads. I just changed these. This wasn't complicated. I found a video demonstrating how to do this. It was easy. My headset should last for several more years. Overall I tend to repair electronics when possible. I have enjoyed doing this.
