The over the counter 5% lidocaine gel I ordered from Amazon has been delivered. I have tried applying this to just one knee joint. It is working. The upshot is that I should begin sleeping better at night. My only concern is that this is only slightly less expensive than a pain management compound I was prescribed in November 2022. The pharmacy told me lidocaine in a higher dose was significantly less expensive and might be an option since I don't have coverage for the compound. I need to visit my local pharmacy to discuss what lidocaine gel prescriptions exist and their expense. In the meanwhile I located what would cost me $50 CAD a month in a larger volume on Amazon.
