Routine Blood Work

During my January medical appointment with my family doctor I was asked if I'd like to undergo routine blood screening. We want to check my cholesterol levels, screen for diabetes and general health of my internal organs. I agreed to this. It makes sense to try to act proactively. The past 2 months have been intense with the house plumbing issues and various winter storms. I couldn't justify prioritizing blood work over the immediate needs of my home and life.
I decided I was going to go this morning to get this done. There is the option to book an appointment through their web site. I thought I'd enjoy the outing and accept that I'd have to wait since I hadn't booked an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when there was only 1 person ahead of me. My wait time was approximately 3 minutes. This worked out really well. This is one less thing on my "to do" list. I am glad this is taken care of.
