Rocky The Hamster Has A Lump

I think I am needing to have my pet hamster looked at by a vet. Rocky's developed a lump off of his left ear. This wasn't present on Monday when I played with Rocky. This could be an abscess, injury healing, ingrown hair or something more menacing. I am trying to find a vet that will see Rocky. It is really hard finding a vet for what are commonly referred to as "pocket pets". It is challenging treating them. I've approached a vet in the city where I live. Hopefully I'll hear back tomorrow. I love Rocky. He's my little family. Rocky has been here in the middle of the night when my knees and legs have been hurting me real bad. He has also been comfort following the death of my aunt from cancer. I hope I am able to provide for his health care needs.
