Purchased A New Furnace

For the past 2 years I have been hearing a sound similar to worn out bearings from my furnace during the heating cycles. Recently I have been hearing metal on metal grinding as the furnace fan shuts off. After a discussion I set an appointment with a furnace company sales employee.
I've just concluded the sales appointment. I've purchased a new natural gas furnace. I haven't set a date for installation yet. I would rather choose a date when the furnace is going to be replaced than have it just die.
