Purchased Insulation Blanket For Hot Water Heater

I've decided to purchase an insulation branket for my hot water heater. With only me living here I forecast recovering the cost of this additional insulation within 6 months. For all practical purposes throughout the way washing my hands uses warm water. The only time I consume a serious quantity of hot water is for showering. I am setting out to save warm water from cooling down between washing my hands.
