Results Of My Recent Knee X-ray
[ Thursday September 22nd 2016 at 8:04 am ]

This morning my family doctor's administrative assistant phoned to let me know the results of my knee x-rays performed on September 19th 2016. The x-rays didn't show anything in need of intervention. This helps eliminate what isn't wrong with my knee joints.

There are limitations to x-rays. As an example my hip joints required the use of multiple MRI's to diagnose and address what was wrong within the soft tissues. My present surgeon places a strong emphasis on symptoms. I am grateful for this. I trust my surgeon. His years of experience have fine tuned when he relies on testing.

The present diagnosis in my right knee joint is infrapatellar tendonitis. As my family doctor pointed out there is a whole group of symptoms that fall under this diagnosis.

My appointment with my surgeon is tomorrow morning. I am keen to discuss the gnawing sensation I felt throughout the underside of my right knee cap on September 15th 2016. My pain medication dropped off unexpectedly. This was the first time in 8 years I was able to feel my right knee joint without pain medication dulling it. Eight years ago my right knee joint didn't feel like this.
