Inquiring My Mortgage Renewal Interest Rate

I became eligible for an early mortgage renewal on November 22nd 2016. This evening I sent a message to a mortgage specialist to inquire the 1 year mortgage renewal interest rate is. I can't see myself remaining living in this house too much longer. If I sign up for a multi year renewal and then am ready to sell I will be forced to pay a high penalty.
