Wrote A ‘Thank You' E-Mail To The Counselor That Helped Me In My Teens

I needed a lot of support and practical help during my teen years. I've thought different times just how much help it was for the counselor that helped me sort out my life. The foundation of managing stress, priorities and the skill set of not being overwhelmed has helped me many times over in my life. I found him online and sent a sincere ‘thank you' for his help and setting me up for success in my adult life for the set of challenges that was to come with my hips, knees, ankles and legs.

On the way home I saw this man again. He patted my back and wanted to shake my hand as I drove past him. His uncle apparently lives in an apartment building in my home. By the time I had made my way to the thrift store and was heading back home again he stopped by his uncle's apartment and gave the grab bar to his uncle. His uncle was so grateful. It was very rewarding. I thoroughly enjoy encouraging people.
