Inquiring If I Have Funding For A Therapeutic Mattress

There is a nursing home worker who attends the Thursday evening swim with her young son. I talked to her tonight for help figuring out what can be done for my spine. The pain in my lower spine is severely breaking up my sleep. In turn the broken sleep adds momentum to the pain I experience. I want to deal with the root cause and not need to take more pain medication than what is necessary.
I already own and sleep in a hospital bed. This was a strategy implemented at the end of 2009. I've been told there are additional options available when managing broken sleep caused by spine pain:
- An upgraded mattress is available. This will provide increased support and comfort.
- A therapeutic mattress cover is able to be added to an electric "hospital" bed. This provides heat. The heat loosens tension causing pain.
I need to find out if I have funding coverage for this. I will make some inquires over the next few days.
