Packed For My Pre-Surgery Screening And Physiotherapy Appointments Tomorrow
[ Wednesday October 21st 2026 at 8:21 pm ]

I am now packed and ready for my pre-surgery screening and physiotherapy appointments tomorrow.

For my pre-surgery screening nurse appointment I need to bring all my medications and supplements in their original containers. In addition to doing this I have printed off a list of what I am using at what time of the day. This should make it easier for the nurse to chart these.

For my pre-surgery screening anaesthetist appointment I have made a chart showing all the surgeries and scopes I have undergone, the affected joint or body part and the type of anesthetic used. What will be especially relevant is how well my body tolerated the 3 recent joint replacement surgeries, colonoscopy and endoscopy. I am not concerned about the operation itself.

For my pre-surgery physiotherapy appointment there are a few questions I need to ask. I especially want to ask the physiotherapist how to better manage when I got my other knee joint seized in position for 3 days and what I could have done differently.

I am ready as I can be for helping these health care professions be effective in preparing for my upcoming surgery at tomorrows appointments.
