VIA Rail Canada customer service has come through for me again. They have just confirmed the designated mobility space on the train is available for my power wheelchair and it is now reserved for me to use on October 22nd 2026. I honestly can't say enough good things about the front line VIA Rail employees who make the travel logistics happen for me. Each one has been gracious with me. They are respectful for my power wheelchair. It is also obvious they have got use to the practical cues of when to offer help and when to leave me to do certain tasks. I never feel talked down to. I also love the scenery as I travel to my medical appointments. This is the real highlight of each trip.
