Purchased 2 More Rat Traps, Smoke Detector And Carbon Monoxide Detector

I have finally made it to my local Home Depot. I have purchased some more rat traps, a battery powered smoke detector and a battery powered carbon monoxide detector.
A rat has managed to get into my home. I am trying to situate traps where I see evidence of rat activity. I have declared war on the rat. I am sure I will catch it soon.
Replacing my combo smoke and carbon dioxide detector is a consequence of the motor on my furnace being replaced. Some residual oil got into the air when the new motor was first used. It contaminated the smoke detector sensor for my basement unit. I started getting numerous nuisance alarms. I will get these up soon. Then I will be able to cross this off my "to do" list.
