Upped My Making Your Own Fun While Hospitalized

I have managed to up my "make your own fun while hospitalized" game even more this evening!
At the start of 7PM shift change I saw a nurse I recognized. Without thinking I said "Emily B! As I live and breathe!"
When I was hospitalized in November 2025 she told me the law of probabilities says 2026 will go better for me. I punctually continued "We need to talk about the law of probability of averages. 2026 is a bust. All of it."
She responded "All of it?"
"The whole thing. We are now aiming for 2027 to be a better year for me."
She needed to get back to work. As she walked away I heard her say "As I live and breath" and burst out laughing really hard.
This nurse is very talented. But she has this dry sarcastic humor. I got her real good! You can't be laughing that hard while conducting patient assessments at shift change.
I repeat the same as yesterday; Life is great!
