Ordered Digital Scales To Keep Track Of My Body Weight
[ Tuesday April 14th 2026 at 10:25 pm ]

Over the past 3 years I have had an incredibly difficult time telling the difference between feeling hungry from needing to eat verses the feeling of hungry from being weak caused by pain. After my second artificial hip was replaced in November 2025 I started loosing weight. I want to be able to monitor this effectively. It is only safe to loose 2 pounds a week. The human body doesn't do a good job losing weight faster than this while continuing to be healthy.

The scales I purchased after moving into my home are spring based. The disc that displays the weight keeps jamming. It is time to start over. Digital scales have become popular compared to 22 years ago. I want to try and run the fine line of loosing 2 pounds a week and not more than this. At the same time I am using my critical thought process to decide if I genuinely need food or if it physical pain that is making me feel weak. If I am unsure I am eating a serving of fruit since it is low calorie and generally healthy.
