Booked Medical Appointment With My Surgeon

I finally have a follow up appointment with my surgeon after my pain management doctor assessed that I wasn't a candidate for knee denervation on January 8th 2026. The appointment with my surgeon will be on March 23rd 2026. It took just shy of 3 months to arrange this appointment. I am puzzled by the delay. There must be something else happening in my surgeons personal life that made him unavailable. I am inclined not to ask what the hold up was. He is a good and very skilled surgeon. I realize doctors are people. They need to tend to their own lives in order to be effective in caring for their patients. I simply don't think it is worth getting side tracked asking about this. My gut instinct is to keep the main issue as the main issue.
