Muscle Pain Causing Nausea During The Night Time

Last night's sleep was rough. I got into muscle pain from learning how to walk. This caused me to experience some nausea. It wasn't severe this time. But I was awake for about 2 hours trying to first stop this with pain medication. When this didn't work the nurse brought me a dose of the same anti-nausea medicine I'd been using at home. This helped. When it was morning I was due for more magnesium. This has helped the muscles to calm back down. This is instead of blocking pain and blocking nausea with medication. I will need a rest after I eat my breakfast.
Everything considered I am content with this happening to me. I have to bring the muscles around my new artificial hip just up to the point of causing me problems. That "zone" of exercise to getting into nausea is really narrow right now. This is from having surgery and disturbing my right side quad muscles in the process. I have been doing pretty good at knowing where that line is. A few hours sleep is all my body needs and I will be fine from this happening. Nausea caused by my right side quad muscles isn't the ordeal I have been through when it is my right knee that does this to me.
I asked for oatmeal for part of my breakfast. When I came to the hospital I brought my hot chocolate powder and some peppermint extract. I stirred these into my morning oatmeal. It tastes good. I forgot to ask for a piece of fruit when nutrition did their rounds yesterday. I have asked to have a banana with my lunch time. I am trying my best to take care of my body. I want to be able to do more with my life once I have healed from this surgery. It will be really wonderful to be able to sit up without pain.
