Sat In A Chair For Supper On The Same Day As My Hip Revision Surgery

The operation to replace my right artificial hip happened earlier today. In the weeks leading up to the surgery I always made the effort to get out of bed to eat. Things weren't going well. But I always enjoyed sitting up for my meals. I want to do the same while I am hospitalized. I asked if I could sit in a chair to eat my supper this evening. I want to keep this up do this while I am here in hospital. The nurse helped me out of my hospital room bed and into the chair. I am really glad I can do this tonight. In the process of getting out of the hospital bed and into the chair beside my hospital bed I put all my body weight through my new artificial hip. I can definately get use to this.
