Appreciation From Parents

I've had an incredible evening. I spent time with 4 children ages 8 to 10 years old. I watched them as they played.
A few times I helped mediate their disagreements. As I did this I worked to give them a skill for future conflict. I was supervising them in a business parking lot at the end of the street 3 of us live on. By 9 PM I decided it was time to escort them to their parents and guardians homes for the evening.
One of these boys just had his 10th birthday. I prepared a present to help him in his life. When we reached his home the dad expressed a lot of gratitude for this. This really topped off a wonderful evening.
