Temporary Repair To My Plumbing

Today has been frustrating. I discovered a very small leak coming from the plumbing connection to my toilet. Even though I am frustrated I would rather know.
My home uses PEX plumbing pipe. The crimp connector for the junction has slightly expanded allowing this very minor leak. The cycles of hot and cold allowed the steel crimp to slightly widen.
There is a different style ring for PEX plumbing that doesn't allow the expansion to occur. What I have will all need to be changed over. With one junction affected it will only be a matter of time before more need repairing.
I am unsure of how the logistics of this will transpire. I have talked this over with my friend Rick. Rick is in his 60's. He has lots of life experience. He makes a great person to troubleshoot with. In short I know what needs to happen. I will work at arranging this once I have a few things completed on my "to do" list.
