My Neighbour Will Roast My Remaining Turkeys

Just as I've arrived home from my pre-surgery screening appointment one of my neighbours was walking past my home with her two dogs. We talked for about 10 minutes. Just before she left I asked if she would do something for me. I asked if she would roast the final 2 turkeys I purchased when it is closer to my surgery. My plan is to use the turkey meat to feed myself during the recovery.
I explained the bending badly triggered my left artificial hip when I roasted the previous turkey just shy of 2 weeks ago. For the short term having someone roast the remaining 2 turkeys for me makes the most sense. Then if I get to mid 2025 and it is obvious I am unable to do this using my oven I will purchased an electric countertop roaster. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from using my hands. I don't want to permanently have someone roasting a turkey for me. But for right now I want to take a "wait and see" approach so I am able to assess what my life is like after I have had my first surgery in 2025. I want to have a sense of what my physical abilities are and aren't before I make a decision to buy an electric countertop roaster. There are times when I am just not sure. This is one of these times. I think having a sense of what my abilities will become is the prudent decision.
Additionally I am putting about $400 into my furnace in the next few weeks. I am adding a UV light to sterilize the warm air my furnace pumps into the living space in my home. I also need to add a humidifier since the humidity during the winter drops down to 15% without this. The stand alone humidifier isn't practical for me to use this year with how my left artificial hip and both of my knee joints have degraded this year. It now makes sense to have a humidifier hooked up directly to my furnace. Instead of putting money into a electric countertop roaster my furnace is a slighter higher priority. I want to do what I have control over so I won't get sick during the recovery from surgery.
