Requested Follow Up Appointment With My Surgeon Concerning The Damn Artifical Hip Hardware Failure

I've just faxed the 2 page letter I wrote to my surgeon. The fax confirmation page shows it sent fine.
My friend read over what I wrote this morning and said to change nothing. I asked him if I had debased myself. He said no. He thought the letter was effective for what I am personally needing from how much risk there is that my pain could cause me to be weak on the day of my appointment.
I've also left a voice mail message for my surgeon's medical secretary to ask for the follow up appointment. I've asked for the last appointment of the day because I am going to need more time to speak with the surgeon about how the damn hip problem has evolved since my April 10th appointment. I've expressed what the surgeon said to me: That he wanted me to be seen 1 week after the MRI imaging was reported. My MRI was on Thursday. It was reported the following day.
