Sent E-Mail To My Pain Management Doctor

It has become inevitable that I need to move on from my family doctor. She is acting indifferent towards me. Also I am able to allege complaints against her for being in breach of the policy that governs her behaviour in the professional environment relating to my medical treatment. For me to move on from her I temporarily need my pain management doctor to assume responsibility for prescribing my pain management medications until I am able to acquire a new family doctor. I have wrote a 2 page letter laying out this request to my pain management doctor. I have just sent this by e-mail. Tomorrow I will mail a physical copy of this to the medical clinic with tracking to prove it has been delivered. I like my pain management doctor. However I have no interest in him being my family doctor. When the times come that I must speak up for myself I am willing to do so. This is one of these situations where it is necessary. Before taking this decision I have had an honest and frank discussion about this with one of my close friends. I am careful about what battles I pick. This one is clearly worth the effort it will involve.
