Requested An Urgent Appointment With The Orthopedic Surgeon I Am Waiting To See

I honestly can't believe just how bad the past 30 hours or so have been. My damn artificial hip has malfunctioned 7 times. The pain has been horrific. I have nothing more to give. This simply can't continue. All the years of physiotherapy I have endured have endured has caused me to become very self aware. I am at the limit of my physical endurance. I have just sent a follow up e-mail to the surgeon's administrative assistant explaining the urgency of this and asking to be made a crisis case. My e-mail triggered an autoresponder. The administrative assistant is out of the office today and will be back in on Monday. If I am not offered an appointment next week then I have no choice but to return to the emergency department of my local hospital to request an updated referral be sent to this surgeon explaining the urgency of this. This isn't a case of me being unwilling to wait my turn in line. My complexion is going grey. I have nothing more to give. I am at my physical endurance and have presented this as justification to be assessed as soon as possible.
