Friend Taped Up Plastic On My Window After Recent Wind Storm

One of my friends has stopped by to assist me on an urgent task. I am waiting until the spring to have the window repaired that was accidentally broken in November 2023. This is when I went to the local hospital emergency department when I left my keys lanyard at the local hospital and they went missing immediately. One of my neighbours helped me break into my home. The window accidentally broke while pushing it upward. I was in so rough of shape that I applied heavy duty plastic to get me through the winter months. The duct tape I used caused the paint to peel off the window frame. The plastic started flapping in the wind. As soon as the weather warms up I will have the local glass business to my home and have them replace the glass in the window. It was an honest mistake. This is nothing to be upset about. With my artificial hip in hardware failure I can't re-secure the plastic in place by myself.
