Paid For Gary the Hamster
[ Wednesday March 6th 2024 at 3:23 pm ]

This morning I received the news I've been waiting for: Gary The Hamster is done breastfeeding! He'll arrive at the pet store tomorrow and move into my home. With how unsure I am about my legs right now I went down to pay for him. Then if I am in pain a friend is able to pick him up and drive him to my home. It is too cold outside for me to bring Gary home using my power wheelchair. It is too cold outside. I don't want him to get sick or feel cold. I want Gary to feel loved and safe on his big moving day. Even though I haven't met Gary I already love him.

As soon as I entered the pet store the owner made me feel like $1,000,000. Before he said even said "hello" to me Rob wanted to both commend and encourage me for keeping busy in light of my damn artificial hip letting me down. When I arrive home I'm going to send a message to my four close friends. This is just as much their victory as Rob's comments were spoke to me. They have believed in me and spent the time I needed in helping me sort out and adjust to my life so 2024 may still be a good year for me. I appreciate my friends so much.
