Topped Up The Air In My Power Wheelchair Tires

On Monday I went to the hospital to get my hip checked. When I arrived at the hospital someone pointed out that my power wheelchair tires were low in air. I should have clued in. The ride quality of my power wheelchair was really poor. I had attributed this to my legs. I was wrong. Colder air is less dense than warm air. The difference of temperature between inside my home and the outer winter temperature was about 50 degrees F. This temperature variation was significant enough to reduce the pressure in my power wheelchair tires.

I own a 3 gallon air compressor. I purchased this at a one off sale 12 years ago at a local hardware store. I purchased this about 12 years ago. I don't often used it. But the times when I need it this is so helpful owning. I just used it to top up my power wheelchair air filled tires. Earlier today a friend stopped at the hardware to purchase me an air chuck and quick release. I don't know where I put my air chuck after the break and enter in my shed. Beside the store where I purchase my groceries is a business where I will buy a tool box to keep my air tool accessories.
