Living Life In A Wheelchair

Follow Up For My MRI Appointment

I did one of the exercises that causes a severe flare up prior to the MRI so my knee joints were imaged while the symptoms were intense. The down side to this is that I am in pretty rough shape. I was also in a very awkward position that strained the weakness in my hip muscles during the imaging. I can feel the arthritis in my lower spine. I am going to be in rough shape for a few days. But I think it is for the best. I am also well aware of the money spent on me to perform the MRI testing. I want to make good use of the resources spent on me and my care.

My family doctor has the final week of June 2017 off. Please pray for him to be rested and renewed. I will get the results of my MRI on July 4th.

My power wheelchair broke on the way home from the pool yesterday. The right motor brake is randomly engaging. This literally causes the wheelchair to drive in circles. The initial instances of this were quite dangerous. It is happening at both fast and low speeds. I essentially limped the wheelchair home. This morning I reached out a home health care store. They've put me in contact with their home health care specialist.
