About ⅓ Of Rocky The Hamster's Abscess Has Been Removed

Last night when I checked on Rocky his abscess was bleeding. I wasn't worried. Also blood doesn't make me queasy. I gave him an antibiotic and antiseptic so his precious body would heal well. Rocky has just woke up for the day and it is great news: Rocky removed about ⅓ of the abscess while I was asleep last night! I just had a really quick look. I don't like to disrupt him when he first wakes up. I wanted to gave him some gentle forehead pets and give him his antibiotic. I am leaving him to start his hamster day. There is more of the abscess to come off. The area that I've been treating is what came off his abscess. This is the best the abscess has looked in about 3 weeks. What Rocky removed is the area of the abscess that I was treatment with the freezing treatments. Rocky is doing so well. He has energy. He is eating, did his first grooming session and was chewing. His fur isn't bloody. He has done a great job is self care over night. I am just giving him his favourite hamster fruits and vegetables right now for his breakfast.
