Captured And Dispatched The Rat

Things just took a surprising turn for the better concerning the rat. About 5 minutes ago I started hearing now I knew was the rat. This time the rat was on one of the glue traps I set during the winter months. I've just dispatched the rat using carbon dioxide gas. I mixed together vinegar and baking soda to create this. From what I read it is the most humane method of dispatching a rodent that has taken up residence in a home. This temporarily solves the problem while I work to patch the dry rot in my foundation.
