Nuisance Smoke Detector Alarm

The smoke detector triggered. There is nothing wrong with the house that should have caused this. It is a nuisance alarm. It is the smoke detector above Rocky The Hamster's cage that triggered the alarm. My guess is that this could be related to giving Rocky fruit and vegetables. I try to remove any he doesn't eat each day. But inevitably I miss some. It is summertime. There has been the odd fruit fly. My suspicion with the smoke detector triggering is that a fruit fly got into the sensor causing the nuisance alarm.
