A Personal Letter From The Ontario Government

At the start of 2017 I sent a letter to the head of the Ministry of Community and Social Services. This is division of the Ontario Canada government that oversees social assistance programs. My letter contained suggestions for improving the quality of life for low income households in Ontario Canada.
In today's mail was a letter acknowledging my input. My letter is making the rounds in the Ontario government. A committee is looking into overhauling social assistance in Ontario and the introduction of a basic income. The changes being made are very positive.
