Bagged Up Shingles Are Off To The Dump

One of my friend's stopped by for a few minutes. He has picked up the shingles I bagged up and is taking them to the dump for me. Instead of putting asphalt shingles onto the shed roof I decided to have a metal roof installed. I decided to have the shingles removed because the weight of these eat into the safety margin of the roof strength.
This would only come into play if we experience an extensive snow storm. For the one time it is needed I am glad I made this decision. With my physical challenges I can't get up on the roof to clear off the snow if we had a substantial snow storm. This is the lesser of all evils in planning ahead.
