I feel one of the items I expressed in the 15 page letter to the sports injury doctor has been validated. I expressed concern that the MRI of my right knee joint wasn't fine enough and that the radiologist was possibly handicapped to express a more serious level of deterioration in my knee joint from when the MRI scans were performed in November 2012 and May 2015.
My local hospital had a press release. The MRI machine has reached the end of it's useful service life and is being overhauled over the next month. The two key reasons stated are that the new machine will create imaging faster and at a higher resolution. I have more confidence of an accurate diagnosis if I undergo an updating MRI.
