Delivery Of New SSD Drive For My Computer

The 1TB SSD drive is here. This is for the laptop computer I use in my day to day life. The SSD drive containing the operating system died on Friday morning. I had originally designated a drive for storing the operating system and a second drive for storing my documents, photos and videos. At the time I thought this was a good idea.
I have changed my opinion. I am still going to use two drives. I am setting up RAID1 (software) instead. Both drives will have the operating system and my content. This way there is redundancy.
I also have an NAS device. This provides a backup for my "home" folder. If something happens to the computer I won't loose my content. As well my final line of protection is a UPS battery backup - surge protector. This sanitizes the electricity for when power surges occur. I live in a neighborhood with above ground wiring. This is an ongoing issue.
