Labor Force Particiation Feedback

I've just read a very shocking article in the local newspaper. Of the working class adults living in this area only 50.4% are part of the work force. There is interest in starting focus groups to understand the "why" part of this and look at innovative solutions. The last paragraph of the news article included contact details if anyone wanted to get involved. I've just sent an e-mail offering a one on one meeting to discuss the challenges with employment when living with a physical disability and chronic pain. I've expressed my perspective would be based on receiving disability social assistance. I'll see if anything comes of this. This is a topic I am passionate about.
