I Faxed A Letter To My Family Doctor About My Pain Control
[ Saturday June 8th 2019 at 12:12 am ]

I am home from my birthday outing. I've had a truly wonderful time. Part of why this was so rewarding to me was the effort it took using a pair of crutches. There is a fine balance in the combination of pain experience, the activity I am doing and the effect this will have on my body during the coming days.

My family doctor has always encouraged me to do activites that interest me. As long as he knows what I've been up to and need for pain control to engage in meaningful activities he is supportive of this. I've just finished writing him a short letter and faxing it. I am more than happy to be responsible and accountability for my use of pain medication.
