Requested Follow Up Appointment With My Surgeon For My Knee Joints

My family doctor gave me the results of my MRI imaging earlier today. I am needing a pair of knee surgeries to repair cartilage tears. Now that I have the results of my knee MRI imaging I've requested a follow up appointment with my surgeon. The appointment with the surgeon will be to form a plan on repairing my knee joints.
If the MRI imaging didn't mandate surgery I wanted to have time to prepare a case for exploratory surgery. I was sent on a "wild goose chase" with my hip joints. I am not prepared to allow this to happen with my knee joints. The frame work for exploratory surgery this was laid in 2018 when I was assessed by a physiatrist. The symptoms of my knee have been suggesting cartilage damage.
I have had numerous false negative MRI reports. Overall this has been such a huge relief.
