Arranged A Nerve Pain Appointment For The Knee Joint Waiting To Be Replaced
[ Wednesday August 26th 2026 at 7:29 pm ]

Some how I managed to make my left knee joint worse. It hasn't let up over the past week. The pain keeps making me feel like I am going to vomit. When the pain is really bad I can't tell which way is up from being dizzy. I have been prescribed anti nausea medication to address this. What has changed is that the nerve pain in my left knee joint has been unrelenting. I am simply not getting much of a break. There is a medication I use for nerve pain. It is healthier for the body than the anti nausea medication. I have made an appointment to ask my family doctor for a higher dose of the nerve pain medication. We did this part way through my right knee joint replacement surgery when the nerve pain was particularly difficult. We also did this when the seroma pain was knocking the snot out of me in 2025. I am hoping the doctor will be agreeable to this since it has a proven track record. I am not sure what else I am suppose to do while I wait for my left knee joint to be replaced. It is getting too hard to simply stand up for transfers. The surge of nausea is simply too debilitating. This appointment is with my family doctor. I like him a whole lot. I know he will hear me out.
