- Have a plan. List what is needed for keeping yourself alive. Then summarize your existing commitments that are in progress. Finally include what you'd like to spend time on. Seeing your plans in writing is a tool to assess if they make sense and are worthy of the resources you'll spend bringing them to completion and in what order.
