Finding a pain scale that makes sense to you is a crucial tool in management of your chronic pain. Our pain scale is based on the affect the pain sensations has on you. If our pain scale "clicks" with you please share it with your medical team so they understand what you mean when giving a number between 1 and 10 of where you pain is at and how your pain control has been going.
