Gave Baby Bibs To A Young Adult Couple
[ Wednesday April 3rd 2019 at 7:25 pm ]

I've done something really special. Over the past few weeks I've been sewing hand towel baby bibs. They are for a young adult couple in my community who just gave birth to a girl.

I've been supporting the young man for several years ago. I wanted to do something special for him as he starts his family. When I thought about this sewing bibs made sense to me. I am hoping this will help avoid fights caused from being tired.

Making these was fun and simple.

  • It starts with buying quality hand towels.
  • Then cut a 6" hole for the baby's neck.
  • After cutting the hole a zig-zag stitch to needed to reinforce the neck since the cloth is a knit.
  • Following this stretch cotton is attached to form a neck.

This has been enjoyable. Using my hands and creative activities helps me co-exist with my chronic pain and physical disability. I am trying to make the best out of my life. Part of this is investing my life in others.
