Spoke To A Pharmacist About The Skin Break Down On My Bum

We are celebrating Family Day this weekend. I need medical attention. The skin break down on my bum is very serious. This has started bleeding. I can't have an appointment with my family doctor for several days due to the office being closed. I've decided to speak with the local pharmacist. Then if necessary I'll attend my local hospital for treatment.
I did a search online. What I found was a recommendation for the exact medication my family doctor gave me. Only my family doctor was hoping Vaseline would let the skin heal. Although my family doctor trusts me I want a pharmacist or a doctor at the hospital to over rule him.
