Christmas Greetings To My Dentist

Building relationships is really important to me. Some are for a specific purpose. For example I developed a group of friends that depended on me attending a local gym. When I ended my membership the friendships that hadn't developed to outside the gym came to a natural conclusion. There are other relationships in my life that are long term. They take time and energy to nurture. When I am facing challenges on account of my physical disability it is nice to have conversations with people who care about me. Equally so it is nice to be able to share my rewarding moments in life with the people I know.

I am presently out doing my chores. I've just stopped in for a quick visit with my dentist. I wanted to wish them a Merry Christmas. I observed something very interesting. The body language of the dentist showed just how much he cared about the 5 minutes I spent saying 'hello'. Meaning things go a long way. It helps people understand me. When there is a misunderstanding with someone whom I have a good relationship with it is easily resolved.
