Making Progress On Repairing My Hot Water Tank

I am making progress on repairing my electric hot water tank. A seal around one of the heating elements started a slow drip. This damaged the lower thermostat.
I've now got the thermostats changed. My next step will be to remove and replace the heating elements. They are the screw in type. I expect this will go well.
I get a lot of joy out of using my hands. It is really rewarding. I just have to pace myself so I don't over stress my body. It will be a few more days until I have hot water again. But I am enjoying the process.
