Home From The ER Department Of My Local Hospital

I've been coughing up green phlegm. My throat hurts. I am finding it a bit hard to breathe. I am feeling the set of symptoms that leads to me having pneumonia. I feel properly horrible. It doesn't happen often but when I get sick the effect of being sick increases exponentially because of my physical disability and chronic pain. Living in chronic pain makes you feel like you are continually in a marathon. The effect of any sickness is amplified.

I've been to the hospital and just arrived back home. They gave me a breathing treatment. It made it much easier to breath. The tightness in my throat and lungs has been resolved. I am on antibiotics for the next week. I am glad I went. The ER department doctor was wonderful. This particular ER department doctor was instrumental in getting the treatment for my hip joints back on track in 2011. I am grateful for the set of hospital staff who assisted me tonight.
